But your synth sound is perfect with this motif: not need to search another sound...

And I don't use the Virus for live: if I found sounds with it, I (try to) sample it.
At this time I want to keep my setup light and easy to control...

J'ai écouté. J'aime bien quand le synthé vient par dessus la guitare. Je suis moins convaincu par la première partie. Je trouve que ça fait fort metal années 80 style Saxon et compagnie. Ca provient plus de la manière de jouer de Chris et peut être aussi de la tonalité (Mi standard) qui donne ce côté "déjà entendu 1000 fois". Peut-être tenter un phrasé guitare différent et/ou un accordage différent.
